Retrofit
●The mechanical press or hydraulic press could be transformed and upgraded into simple fine
blanking presses by combining a composite guiding die carrier and a hydraulic station system.
The die carrier provides blanking force, blank holder force and ejection force. In addition, its
upper and lower plates are bolted to the supporting surface and working surface, respectively.
The guide posts connected to both surfaces ensure the precision of upper and lower
reciprocating movement.
●Die carriers are divided into “rapid change” and “general” these two types. The first type
is designed based on the expected usable area. With precise and wear resistant positioning
device, it could help to reduce the mold manufacturing cycle and improve production efficiency.
While the other one is based on the size of the workbench. It is designed with T slot for easy
installation between various molds.
●The retrofitting ensures the existing equipment remain cost-efficient and retain their value asset. Meanwhile it could reach the product quality and efficiency
as normal blanking press does. However, limited to the precision and rigidity, the retrofitted press
is not adapted to progressive dies for massive production. As a result, it is difficult to achieve
the efficient automatic production.
